With the ever-changing restrictions being enforced with the COVID 19 pandemic the bride and groom had several date and venue changes. Finally settling on a pop-up venue in the picturesque Tallebudgera Valley, QLD.
Tallebudgera Valley is situated in the Gold Coast hinterland along the Queensland/New South Wales border. Stretching from the beach south of the Burleigh Headland national park, the valley’s elevation rises to 800m above sea level and is protected within Springbrook National Park. Flush with nature, this region has lent itself perfectly to quality health resorts and eco-retreats.
Strict COVID19 regulations meant that most of the bride’s family were unable to travel from Sydney to attend the wedding in south-east Queensland. The wedding photographer offered to live stream the wedding ceremony, however, the cellular connection available at the wedding venue in the Tallebudgera Valley was not up to the task at hand.
The Powertec team were able to complete a ‘Loxcel report’ which was able to identify the closest tower with the best line of sight, ensuring a strong mobile signal could be achieved.
Once on-site the Cellferno was attached to the Blackhawk mobile mast and positioned on top of a hill to get the best line of sight to the telecommunications tower. The Altai IX500 Wi-fi Access Point was connected to the Cellferno which was able to broadcast a private network that the photographer could use uninterrupted.
The Cellferno was able to provide reliable download and upload speeds to the area where there was barely a signal available prior to installation.
The family of the bride and groom were able to watch the live stream of the wedding ceremony and reception from interstate. The bride and groom also took advantage of the strong mobile signal and face timed their family and friends throughout the evening allowing them to share the special moment in their lives.
